Its oversized 260mm diameter creates more mechanical leverage at the caliper, helping the brake deliver stronger, more controlled stopping performance without modifying the frame or fork.
Compared with a smaller stock rotor, the larger swept diameter, greater rotor mass, and increased surface area help manage heat during repeated hard stops. That means a more consistent lever feel when riding steep descents, pushing the pace on technical trails, or braking harder with a modified, higher-powered bike.
Rippin Moto pairs a premium stainless steel braking surface with a precision CNC-machined aluminum carrier. This combination provides a durable pad contact surface while keeping the rotor assembly strong and accurately aligned. Every option uses the correct Gen3 mounting pattern for the selected bike. When caliper relocation is required, the matching bike-specific adapter and mounting hardware are included.

Installation Notes
Installation should be completed by a qualified technician. Before riding, verify rotor-to-caliper alignment and confirm that the brake pads contact the braking surface correctly. Torque every fastener to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification, then properly bed in the rotor and pads before aggressive riding. Correct bedding helps transfer an even layer of pad material to the rotor, improving braking consistency and reducing the chance of vibration or uneven performance.
