The Rippin Moto Gen3 240mm Rear Brake Rotor Kit is built for riders who want more usable braking leverage, improved heat management, and consistent rear brake performance. The oversized 240mm rotor gives the caliper more leverage than a smaller stock rotor, helping you control speed with less effort during aggressive trail riding, steep descents, and repeated braking.

A larger rotor also brings more mass and surface area into the braking system. This helps the rotor absorb and release heat more effectively, which can reduce performance changes during sustained braking. The result is a more predictable brake feel when the trail gets technical or a higher-powered e-moto asks more from its rear brake.

Each bike-specific kit uses the correct Gen3 rotor mounting pattern for the selected model. A matching Rippin Moto rear caliper adapter and the required mounting hardware are included, so installation does not require frame modification.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified technician. Verify rotor-to-caliper alignment and confirm proper brake pad contact before riding. Torque all fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification.

Bed in the new rotor and pads before aggressive riding. A proper bedding process transfers an even layer of pad material onto the braking surface, helping the system deliver smoother engagement, stronger braking, and more consistent performance.

Important Ordering Information

Select your exact bike model and model year before ordering because rotor mounting patterns vary between models and years. Rear caliper adapters for the Vetra Blazer and Arctic Leopard XE PRO S are still in development and are not currently available.
