Jackery Explorer 300 v2 Portable Power Station | Camping, Track & Everyday Portable Power

Small Enough to Bring Everywhere, Powerful Enough for the Gear You Actually Use

The Jackery Explorer 300 v2 is a compact portable power station built for riders, campers, travelers, photographers, and anyone who needs dependable power without hauling around a large battery system. With 288Wh of LiFePO4 battery capacity, 300W of continuous output, and up to 600W surge power, it's designed to handle a wide range of outdoor gear and everyday electronics.

At only 8.1 lbs, this is the kind of power station that's easy to throw in the truck with your riding gear. Use it at the track for phones, cameras, drones, laptops, Wi-Fi equipment, and lighting, or bring it camping to keep smaller electronics running without firing up a generator.

Is the Explorer 300 v2 for Charging an E-Moto?

This is not the Jackery we'd recommend for charging a full-size performance e-moto. The Explorer 300 v2 has a 300W continuous AC output and 288Wh of stored capacity, which is considerably below the requirements of most high-output electric dirt bike chargers.

Remember, e-moto charging compatibility is determined by the AC input requirement of the charger, not the motor output of the bike. If your charger requires more than 300W continuously, the Explorer 300 v2 cannot properly power it.

Even with a charger that falls within the output limit, 288Wh is a relatively small amount of stored energy compared with the batteries found in modern performance e-motos. For riders, we think this model makes much more sense as a support power station for everything around the bike.

A Great Track-Day Companion

Not every power station needs to charge the bike itself. Track days involve a surprising amount of equipment that needs electricity, and this is where the Explorer 300 v2 makes a lot of sense.

  • Phones and tablets
  • Laptops
  • GoPros and action cameras
  • Camera batteries
  • Drones
  • Wi-Fi equipment
  • GPS and navigation devices
  • Compatible USB-C electronics
  • Small lighting setups
  • Other compatible devices under the power limits

If you already use a larger Jackery or fuel generator to charge your e-moto, the Explorer 300 v2 is a useful second power source. Let the big system handle the bike while this one stays available for electronics, cameras, communications, and the smaller stuff that doesn't need several thousand watts.

288Wh Capacity & 300W Continuous Output

The Explorer 300 v2 combines 288Wh of battery capacity with 300W of stable continuous output and up to 600W of surge capability. Jackery states that this combination can power approximately 90% of outdoor gear and digital devices, depending on their individual power requirements.

For smaller electronics, 288Wh can go a long way. Instead of carrying a large home-backup battery when you only need to keep phones, laptops, cameras, drones, Wi-Fi equipment, and other digital gear alive, the Explorer 300 v2 gives you a much more portable option.

Only 8.1 lbs

One of the biggest advantages of the Explorer 300 v2 is its size. It weighs just 3.7 kg, or approximately 8.1 lbs, and Jackery states that the body is 19% smaller for easier storage and transport.

A foldable carrying handle keeps the package compact when it's packed away and gives you an easy way to move it around camp, the pits, your vehicle, or the house.

When you're already hauling a bike, riding gear, stands, tools, helmets, boots, and everything else that comes with a day of riding, an 8.1-pound power station is a lot easier to justify bringing along.

LiFePO4 Battery with 4000+ Life Cycles

The Explorer 300 v2 uses premium LiFePO4 battery cells designed for more than 4,000 life cycles and an expected service life of approximately 10 years.

That's particularly useful for a smaller power station because it's something you're likely to use regularly. Bring it on road trips, take it camping, use it at the track, keep it around the garage, and have it available for backup power when you need it.

Charge Up to 6 Devices at Once

The Explorer 300 v2 can power or charge up to six devices simultaneously, making good use of its compact battery capacity when several people or devices need power.

It features dual 300W AC outputs along with an upgraded 100W USB-C fast-charging connection. This gives you flexible charging options for compatible laptops, drones, cameras, phones, and other digital equipment.

The two AC outlets do not provide 300W each simultaneously beyond the system limit. The power station's total continuous AC output remains 300W.

Recharge to 80% in Approximately 1 Hour

A portable battery is a lot more useful when you don't have to wait all day for it to recharge. The Explorer 300 v2 can reach approximately 80% charge in one hour using compatible wall or solar input.

That makes it easier to recharge between trips, top it up before leaving for the track, or replenish the battery while you're traveling.

Solar Charging for Camping & Off-Grid Trips

The Explorer 300 v2 supports solar input, giving campers and off-grid riders another way to replenish the battery when an AC outlet isn't nearby.

A compact power station paired with compatible solar equipment can be particularly useful for longer camping trips where your primary loads are phones, cameras, communication equipment, laptops, and other smaller devices.

Solar panels should not be assumed to be included unless they are specifically listed with the configuration selected. Solar recharge times will vary with available sunlight, panel positioning, temperature, and other conditions.

Industrial-Grade UPS Backup

The Explorer 300 v2 also works as a compact backup power source with an industrial-grade UPS function and a response time of 0.01 seconds or less.

This is designed to help compatible equipment such as Wi-Fi and other essential electronics remain powered when grid electricity is interrupted.

For someone working from a laptop or relying on a network connection, that's a useful feature to have in a power station small enough to travel with you.

Energy-Saving Mode for Overnight Use

Jackery's Energy-Saving Mode provides auto-off and continuous-output options, allowing you to choose how the power station behaves with different equipment.

This can be particularly useful for overnight camping or backup applications where you may need a smaller device powered continuously without unnecessarily wasting stored battery capacity.

Built for Real-World Safety

The Explorer 300 v2 uses a UL94V-0 flame-retardant shell along with an advanced Battery Management System, or BMS, designed to support stable operation and battery protection.

Jackery lists an operating temperature range of -15°C to 45°C, giving the Explorer 300 v2 a broad working range for different outdoor and everyday environments.

Need More Power for Your E-Moto?

If your goal is specifically to charge an electric dirt bike or high-performance e-moto, the Explorer 300 v2 is probably too small for the job. Its 300W continuous output and 288Wh capacity are better suited to electronics and support equipment.
