Jackery HomePower 1000 v2 | 1070Wh Portable Power Station for Camping, Track & Backup Power

A Compact 1kWh Power Station with 1500W of Output

The Jackery HomePower 1000 v2 is a newer, more affordable portable power option built for riders, campers, homeowners, and anyone who wants useful backup power without stepping up to a larger 2kWh or 3kWh system. With 1,070Wh of LiFePO4 battery capacity and 1,500W of output, it packs enough power for a wide range of everyday electronics, camping equipment, track-day gear, and compatible chargers.

For the REV Rides crowd, we see the HomePower 1000 v2 as a great support power station. It's compact enough to bring along on riding trips while still providing enough output for refrigerators, laptops, lights, cameras, tool batteries, communication equipment, and plenty of other gear that follows you to the track or campsite.

Can the HomePower 1000 v2 Charge an E-Moto?

It depends on the AC input wattage of your e-moto charger. The HomePower 1000 v2 provides 1,500W of output, so a compatible charger needs to stay within that output limit.

This is important because e-moto chargers vary considerably. Don't size a power station based on the motor rating of the bike. A 12kW, 20kW, or 25kW e-moto does not require a power station capable of producing that much power. What matters is how much AC power the charger pulls from the outlet.

If your charger requires more than 1,500W, you'll want to move up to a higher-output Jackery or use a properly sized generator.

1070Wh Capacity Means This Is Better for Top-Offs

There's another number to consider when charging an e-moto: battery capacity. The HomePower 1000 v2 stores 1,070Wh, or 1.07kWh of energy.

Many performance electric dirt bikes and e-motos have batteries substantially larger than 1.07kWh. There are also normal efficiency losses when power travels through the Jackery's inverter, your bike charger, and into the bike battery.

For that reason, we would primarily look at this model as a partial-charge or emergency top-off option for a compatible e-moto, rather than something you buy specifically to fully recharge a large performance e-moto battery.

If bike charging is your main reason for buying a power station, check your charger wattage and bike battery capacity first. If you're unsure, send those specs to REV Rides and we can help you figure out which size makes more sense.

Perfect for Everything Else at the Track

Even if your e-moto charger is too powerful for the HomePower 1000 v2, this power station can still be extremely useful around the pits. Instead of using your larger generator or power station for every little device, dedicate the HomePower 1000 v2 to the equipment that keeps your day running.

  • Phones and tablets
  • Laptops
  • GoPros and camera batteries
  • Compatible tool battery chargers
  • Portable refrigerators and coolers
  • Camp and pit lighting
  • Wi-Fi and communication equipment
  • Fans
  • GPS and navigation equipment
  • Compatible e-bike and e-moto chargers under the power limit
  • Other compatible electronics and small appliances

This is also a good setup if you already travel with a fuel generator. Let the generator handle your high-output bike charger, then use the Jackery for quieter loads around camp or the pits when you don't want the generator running.

1070Wh Capacity & 1500W Output

The HomePower 1000 v2 delivers a strong combination of 1,070Wh battery capacity and 1,500W output. That makes it large enough for meaningful backup and portable power while remaining more manageable than a larger home-backup system.

For camping, track days, road trips, and emergency use, 1.07kWh gives you useful stored energy for the equipment you actually need to keep running.

0 to 100% in Approximately 1 Hour

Jackery's Emergency Super Charge can recharge the HomePower 1000 v2 from 0% to 100% in approximately one hour.

Fast recharging makes a big difference with a smaller portable power station. You can replenish the battery between trips, prepare quickly when bad weather or an outage is approaching, or get it charged before heading out for another day of riding.

Dual 100W USB-C & USB-A Connectivity

The HomePower 1000 v2 includes dual 100W USB-C and USB-A ports for directly powering and charging compatible electronics.

High-output USB-C is especially useful when you're traveling with modern laptops, tablets, phones, cameras, and other USB-C equipment because compatible devices can be charged directly without tying up the main AC outlets.

ChargeShield 2.0 with 62 Layers of Protection

Jackery equips the HomePower 1000 v2 with ChargeShield 2.0, using 62 layers of advanced protection designed to keep charging and power delivery stable, efficient, and safe across different operating situations.

That's particularly important for a portable power station that's going to see different jobs throughout its life. One weekend it may be running electronics at the track, the next it may be camping with you, and months later it may be providing backup power during an outage.

Solar Charging with Bifacial 200W Panels

The HomePower 1000 v2 can also take advantage of solar charging using compatible Bifacial 200W solar panels. This gives you another way to replenish stored energy when you're camping, traveling, or spending extended periods away from grid power.

Solar is particularly useful for maintaining smaller electronics and camp loads over longer trips. Actual solar charging performance will vary based on panel configuration, available sunlight, panel position, temperature, and other environmental conditions.

Solar panels should not be assumed to be included unless they are specifically listed with the configuration selected.

LiFePO4 Battery Built for 10+ Years

The HomePower 1000 v2 uses LiFePO4 battery cells rated for approximately 4,000 charge cycles and 10+ years of use.

That's an important advantage for something you may use regularly instead of leaving untouched for emergencies. Bring it camping, take it to the track, use it around the garage, and still have a dependable source of stored power available when the grid goes down.
