The Formula EB9 E-Moto Brake System is built for the latest generation of high-power, lightweight electric motorcycles. Designed and manufactured in Italy, this complete front and rear brake set delivers the power, control, and heat management needed for fast trail riding, technical descents, and repeated hard braking.

At the center of the EB9 is a precision CNC-machined caliper made from aeronautic-grade Ergal 7075 aluminum. The material provides an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, helping the caliper maintain a firm, consistent feel without adding unnecessary weight. A black-anodized finish adds surface protection and gives the system a clean, factory-level appearance.

Complete Front and Rear Brake Set

The Formula EB9 is sold only as a complete front and rear brake set. Individual front or rear kits are not available for separate purchase. Selling the system as a matched set ensures balanced braking performance, correct component compatibility, and predictable control at both ends of the bike.

Each complete set contains bike-specific front and rear assemblies. The individual SKU numbers listed below identify the two assemblies included with each mount option.

Built for Modern E-Moto Performance

The EB9 uses four 22mm pistons in the front caliper and two 22mm pistons in the rear. This multi-piston layout delivers strong initial bite while keeping braking force smooth and manageable at the lever. Its wider caliper body and thicker brake pads are designed around the size, speed, and heat demands of newer high-output e-motos.

Phenolic pistons help limit heat transfer through the hydraulic system, while sintered pads provide dependable performance in heat, dirt, and mud. Forged aluminum master cylinders and adjustable ball-end levers give riders precise control, and steel-braided brake hoses with PTFE inner liners resist expansion under pressure for a consistent lever feel.

This is a true plug-and-play brake upgrade for the listed platforms. It was developed around modern e-moto mounting dimensions, so riders do not have to compromise with adapted traditional motorcycle brake systems.

Fitment and Included SKUs

Each EB9 version is engineered for one specific post-mount spacing. These options are not universal across different bikes. Select the mount size that matches the fork or brake adapter on your bike.

90mm EB9 Mount

The 90mm Arctic Leopard version uses a slimmer EB9 caliper to provide the necessary clearance for the bike. This platform may also be referenced as the Arctic Leopard EX Pro S or EX Enduro, so confirm the exact model and 90mm mount measurement before ordering.

95.5mm EB9 Mount

Important 74.2mm Fitment Notice

The 74.2mm mount size is not part of the Formula EB9 system. Bikes using a 74.2mm post mount require the compact Formula EB7 Brake System.
