The EBG V2 Hybrid Primary Drive Bundle combines the complete 23T and 51T pulley set with a model-specific carbon-reinforced belt and EBG Belt Tension Adjustment Tool. It gives riders the main components needed to upgrade a compatible Sur-Ron-style primary drive in one matched package.

This setup pairs a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum rear pulley with a heat-treated 420J2 steel front pulley. The lightweight rear pulley helps control rotating weight, while the steel front pulley adds strength where the drive system experiences concentrated load and wear.

The included EBG Carbon Primary Drive Belt is designed for quiet operation, accurate tracking and consistent tooth engagement. Its carbon fiber composite construction handles repeated acceleration while delivering smooth power transfer on stock and modified electric moto builds.

A Complete Primary Drive Upgrade

The 23-tooth front and 51-tooth rear pulley combination creates dependable belt engagement across the drive system. When correctly aligned and tensioned, the matched setup helps reduce unwanted belt movement, drivetrain noise and inconsistent power delivery.

Choose an 18mm or 20mm carbon-reinforced belt according to the selected bundle and installed pulley configuration. The 18mm option works well for stock and moderately upgraded bikes. The wider 20mm option provides additional belt contact for modified builds and more demanding riding conditions.

The carbon belt requires no chain lubrication and will not develop the rust issues associated with a metal chain. It still needs regular cleaning, inspection and tension checks to deliver its best service life.

Choose the Correct Bundle

Select the bundle that matches your bike and required belt width. Confirm the printed belt size, belt width, tooth profile and available clearance before ordering. An 18mm belt and a 20mm belt are not interchangeable unless the selected front and rear pulley system is designed for that width.

Fitment note: Modified bikes may use belt lengths, pulley combinations or mounting clearances that differ from the original factory configuration. Confirm compatibility before ordering if the bike has an aftermarket motor, controller, jackshaft or primary-drive system.

Carbon Belt Care

For regular street use, clean the belt and apply a carbon-belt-safe maintenance solution approximately every 1,000 km. This is not chain lubricant. Use only a maintenance product intended for carbon drive belts and follow its application instructions.

After an enduro or off-road ride, remove mud, sand and grit from the belt and pulley teeth. Keeping abrasive debris out of the drive system helps protect the belt surface and maintain consistent tooth engagement.

Installation Guidance

Inspect the jackshaft and mounting hardware before installation. Install the front and rear pulleys with correct alignment, then set belt tension according to the requirements of the selected EBG pulley system. The included tension adjustment tool makes it easier to establish and maintain the proper setting.

Recheck belt tracking, pulley alignment and tension after the first ride. Professional installation is recommended for modified bikes, custom drivetrain setups and high-output builds.
