All-Access Adventure

The Bonnell 775 AM is not built for one type of rider. It is built for all of them. From first-time e-MTB riders to experienced trail addicts, the 775 AM blends modern geometry, modular design, and progressive suspension into a platform that adapts to how and where you ride. This is a true all-mountain machine that feels composed on technical climbs, confident on descents, and efficient enough for long days in the saddle.

Overview

  • Intended Use: Enduro / All-Mountain
  • Front Travel: 160 mm
  • Rear Travel: 150 mm
  • Weight: 55 lb (25 kg)
  • Estimated Range: 18–44 miles (30–70 km)

Compact Design, High Performance Motor

At the heart of the 775 AM is the Photon Gen 1 drive unit, delivering up to 1,200 watts of peak power and 110 Nm of torque. This motor is tuned for versatility, offering smooth, controlled assistance on technical terrain while still providing the punch needed for steep climbs and fast trail sections. A responsive torque sensor gives intuitive power delivery, improving traction and rider control rather than overwhelming the trail with raw output.

From the factory, the bike is configured as a Class 2 system with pedal assist and throttle support up to 20 mph (25 km/h). Through the Bonnell Ride Control App, riders can switch to Class 3 mode, increasing pedal-assist speed up to 28 mph (45 km/h). In Class 3 configuration, the throttle is disabled to maintain compliance. Power is transferred through a durable CYC steel narrow-wide 34T chainring, chosen for reliability and long service life.

Intuition Display

The CYC Intuition integrated smart display delivers clear, real-time ride data in a clean, responsive interface. Speed, battery status, ride modes, and performance metrics are always within view, allowing you to make adjustments on the fly without breaking focus on the trail. The display is designed to feel like a natural extension of the bike rather than an add-on.

For added security, the Intuition display includes a built-in AirTag that integrates with Apple devices, allowing you to track your bike for peace of mind when parked or transported.

Power Your Ride: A-Series Battery System

Every 775 AM comes standard with a CYC A-Series 520 Wh quick-connect battery, with an optional upgrade to a higher-capacity 780 Wh battery for extended range. Depending on riding conditions and assist level, the system offers up to 43 miles (70 km) of range.

The A-Series battery is fully lockable and includes a physical safety switch for secure storage. A built-in USB-C port allows the battery to function as a power bank, perfect for charging devices during long rides. Injected molded rubber waterproof covers and a rugged aluminum housing protect the battery in harsh weather and rough terrain.

Removal takes only seconds, allowing the bike to be converted to a non-powered mode for restricted trails or storage. An advanced Battery Management System monitors temperature, charging, and discharge to prevent overcharging and overheating, ensuring long-term performance and safety. The battery is backed by a one-year warranty.

Engineered for Durability: 775 AM Frame

The 775 AM frame is built around a progressive single-pivot linkage suspension design with 150 mm of rear travel. The front triangle is constructed from 4130 chromoly steel with a full ED anti-rust coating, paired with forged 6061 aluminum chainstays and seatstays. Adjustable forged dropouts, sealed stainless bearings with marine grease, and a double-sealed pivot system are all designed to handle long-term abuse in real trail conditions.

Chainstay length can be adjusted between 440 mm and 452 mm to fine-tune handling, and the rear shock mount offers two settings, comfort and sport, allowing riders to choose between enhanced small-bump compliance or increased progressivity for aggressive riding.

Suspension Package

Suntour TriAir 3CR Rear Shock

The Suntour TriAir 3CR rear shock features a trunnion mount with a custom Bonnell AM tune. It includes a three-position compression lever, rebound adjustment, and an adjustable air spring. The lower shock mount offers comfort and sport positions, letting riders quickly adapt traction and support to trail conditions or riding style.

Suntour Durolux 36X / 38X RC+ Fork

Up front, the 775 AM runs a Suntour Durolux RC+ fork with 160 mm of travel. Small and medium frames use 36 mm stanchions, while large and XL frames receive the stiffer 38 mm version. Adjustable compression and rebound damping allow precise tuning, and the fork is e-bike rated with a boost 15 x 110 axle and integrated short fender for added protection.

Braking Performance

Stopping power comes from the Magura MT5 hydraulic brake system. Four-piston calipers paired with Magura MDR-C rotors, 220 mm front and 203 mm rear, deliver consistent braking under heavy loads and steep descents. The flip-flop lever design allows riders to configure a standard or moto-style setup without bleeding the system, adding flexibility to cockpit preferences.

Bonnell Ride Control App

The Bonnell Ride Control App connects via Bluetooth and unlocks deep customization. Riders can fully tune factory power modes, pedal assist levels, torque sensor behavior, and throttle response. A built-in dashboard tracks speed, distance, battery data, and component temperatures, making it easy to monitor performance and dial in the bike exactly how you want it.

Compatible with iOS and Android devices.

Touring Package Add-On

For riders who want to extend the 775 AM beyond the trail, the optional Touring Package transforms the bike into a capable commuter in under 30 minutes with minimal tools. The kit includes waterproof dual bags, wide aluminum fenders, a heavy-duty 30 kg rear rack, Magic Shine lights, kickstand, bell, and puncture-resistant Maxxis Metropass AT tires with reflective strips. It is an easy way to make the 775 AM just as capable on pavement as it is off-road.
