Built from a high-quality carbon fiber composite, the EBG belt delivers quiet operation, stable tooth engagement and smooth power transfer under repeated acceleration. It is lighter than a traditional metal chain and requires no chain lubrication, eliminating the rust and oily mess associated with chain-driven systems.

The carbon-reinforced construction is designed for demanding street, trail and high-power use. It resists mud, water, sand and elevated drivetrain temperatures while providing up to three to five times the service life of a standard belt when it is properly aligned, tensioned and maintained.

Quiet, Consistent Power Transfer

A correctly installed carbon primary belt provides precise energy transfer with less drivetrain noise than a traditional chain. Lower rotating weight can also improve drivetrain efficiency and help the bike respond more cleanly during acceleration.

The belt does not require lubrication, but it is not maintenance-free. Regular cleaning, correct pulley alignment and proper tension are important for protecting the belt teeth and extending service life, especially on modified bikes and off-road builds.

Select the Correct Belt

Choose the belt option that matches the pulley system currently installed on your bike. Confirm the printed belt size, belt width, tooth profile and pulley alignment before ordering. An 18mm belt and a 20mm belt are not interchangeable unless the front and rear pulleys are designed for that specific width.

Important: The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee uses a model-specific EBG primary drive belt and carries a different drivetrain rating from the 560-8M belt options. Modified bikes may also use pulley combinations or belt lengths that differ from the original factory setup.

Carbon Belt Maintenance

For regular street riding, clean the belt and apply a carbon-belt-safe maintenance solution approximately every 1,000 km. This is not chain lubricant. Use only a product specifically intended for carbon belt care and follow the product instructions.

After every enduro or off-road ride, remove mud, sand and grit from the belt and pulleys. Apply the carbon-belt-safe maintenance product as directed after cleaning. Regular care helps protect the belt surface, preserve tooth engagement and extend its usable service life.

Installation Guidance

Inspect the front pulley, rear pulley and jackshaft before installing the new belt. Replace any damaged, chipped or unevenly worn pulley before fitting the replacement belt. Align the primary drive and set belt tension according to the specifications of the installed pulley system.

Recheck belt tracking, alignment and tension after the first ride. Professional installation is recommended for modified bikes, custom pulley systems and high-output drivetrains. The included EBG Belt Tension Adjustment Tool makes initial setup and future tension checks faster and easier.
