STEP BY STEP GUIDE
This guide will help you get you from the box to the road. The ultimate starter guide for the VSETT 9+ and 10+ models.
STEP 1: OPEN BOX
Inside the box you will find a package containing a settings guide, a warranty card, a quality control checklist, and more stuff from us at REV Rides.
You will also find the factory user manual, the charger, and a tool kit that will help you get the scooter tightened up and ready to ride.

STEP 2: LIFT SCOOTER
Lift scooter out of the box and onto a flat surface.
STEP 3: UNFOLD SCOOTER
To unfold, you will want to loosen the latch screw, guide the lower hook over the pin by lowering the lever, lock the clasp, and finally tighten the latch screw.
STEP 4: TIGHTEN HANDLEBARS
Begin by removing packaging. You'll then want to unfold the handlebars until they lock into place. Once in place, begin tightening the colored collar.
STEP 5: TIGHTEN LCD PANEL
Use the provided tool to tighten the LCD screen / throttle into place. Choose a position that is comfortable to you. Do not over tighten.
STEP 6: BRAKE CHECK
Before riding it is important to ensure the brakes are working properly. To check, pull on either brake and give the scooter a slight push forward and back.
Please note that VSETT electric scooters have inverse brakes compared to standard bicycles. The left lever engages the rear brake, while the right lever engages the front brake.

STEP 7: TIRE PRESSURE
Ensure both tires are inflated to 45 PSI. If your pump doesn't fit the scooter tire valve, you can use the provided attachment.
STEP 8: CHARGING
Plug your charger into the wall. The charging box will light up green, indicating there is power. Plug the other end into the scoter, ensure you align the notches up correctly. Once plugged in, the charger box will turn red, indicating that your scooter in charging. Once charging is complete, the light will turn green. This may take up to twelve hours.
STEP 9: POWERING ON
To power on, hold the power button beside the LCD display for 3 seconds, then hold your NFC card over the card scanner. Note: it is important to keep one NFC key card in a safe place. We can only provide replacements if we have an old one. You can only bind new cards if you still have an old one that works.
STEP 10: USING LIGHTS
- To power on the lights, hold down the plus button beside the LCD display.
- To use the blinkers, press the trigger on handle grips
STEP 11: USING GEARS
To toggle gears, use the "+" and "-" buttons. You can toggle through gears 1 through 3. The gears essentially act as a speed limiter, only limiting top speed.
STEP 12: USING DUAL MOTORS
If your model has dual motors, Press the DDM button in to power on the second motor. In single motor mode, only the rear motor will be used.
STEP 13: SPORT MODE
If your model has sport mode, press in the Sport button on dash. An "S" will display in the gear section on the LCD Display. Sport mode will give you increased top speed and acceleration for 2 minutes before turning itself off for a cool down period of 5 minutes.
STEP 14: KICK START
By default, REV Rides VSETT models come with kick start enabled. To start riding, you will need to kick off for the throttle to engage.
